Is there any difference between an Indian foldable lens and Imported lens? Because my grandma is about to undergo an eye surgery and the hospital asked us to select the type of lens. So,could you please help us with your answers as soon as possible. Waiting for a hopeful answers.

Hello Yes..there is difference in material of lens. Having said that, tgese days indian lenses are also very good ...you may choose indian lens also

There is wide varieties of intra ocular lenses available. These can be of Indian manufacturing companies and multi national companies like Alcon, Zeiss and others. Difference exist in terms of material, surfacing n manufacturing process of these lenses. However these days good quality Indian foldable lenses are available. U can take opinion from your ophthalmologist regarding same and choose IOL according to your cost preferences. Hope you find it useful.
