Dear Lybrate user, if you are facing so many problems a few day after placement of cap, you should revisit your dentist and get it replaced immediately. It's the dentist's responsibility to replace it. Repeated food accumulation around the area of capping may lead to gum inflammation. Get rid of the faulty crown immediately as this may re-infect you recently root canal treated tooth also. Instead of toothpick, use a floss to clean in between the cap and adjacent teeth.
