Hi doctor, I am 17 years old boy. From last 3-4 months I am facing itching after bath. After I take the bath my whole body turns red and starts itching very much. It happens for 15 minutes. Doctor has recommend me monticope for 6 months. It is for my cold and itching. When I stop taking this medicine again both the problem starts (cold and itching after bath. Can you tell me what to do now?

It .could be due to aquagenic pruritus. 2.Use luke warm/cold water while bathing 3.don't use too much soap, which can cause skin dryness 4.don't change your soap/shampoo frequently 5.Don't take bath in hot water 6.Apply oil/moisturizer before/after shower 7.Don't take bath in hard water 8.Avoid frequent bath/shower which removes oil from skin causing dryness and itching
