If you're on a diet, you're probably already working out a couple of times a week. (No? Well, you should start!) But whether you exercise or not, you can get a leg up on all those other weight-loss wannabes by doing a little something extra each day. Take the stairs instead of the elevator; walk to the bus, train, or all the way to the office; window-shop with your best friend rather than sit over coffee. Taking the dog out, gardening and even housecleaning all increase the number of calories you expend. You don't have to go for a jog (although that would help!) to speed up weight loss. Twenty minutes of moderate exercise a day means you'll burn approximately 700 calories.

You require some muscle relaxants along with physiotherapy sessions for a week to get rid of your problem. If you want temporary relif you can get a pain killer precribed from your orthoped. You will to increase dose. You also need to lose weightTo do that:-- 1. Take less energy, spend more. Therefore, eat less, exercise more. 2. Eat less of sugars, starches and fat and more of proteins, fiber, vitamins and minerals. This means, fill your stomach with salads like raw carrots, turnip, cucumber, tomatoes and plenty of boiled seasonal vegetables etc. And less-sweet fruits like guava, papaya, apples, pears, oranges etc. Avoid cold drinks also. 3. Do regular physical exercise like brisk walk, cycling, swimming, kapaal bharti and mandook aasan. Tell me after two weeks.

Run as per your capacity only after doing stretching exercise and I will suggest you to do suryanamaskar daily as per your capacity for a minimum of six months and few tips on diet say no to maida items like toast, khaari ,naan ,white bread. Can drink tea but without sugar say no to Buffalo milk and can drink cows milk can eat brown bread can eat sprout's can eat green vegetables, can eat chappati ,bajra ka rotla can eat one katori of rice twice a day with dal to avoid farsan food items can eat fruits say no to coconut water.

Go for brisk walk 45 minute daily. Take 3 cup green tea daily (jasmine flavour). Have diet rich in fruits vegetable salads & multigrain aata roti avoid rice, deserts, and fried stuffed. Drink 2-3 liters water in a day.

Better to drink hot water boiled with some easily available herbs and putting honey to it. Some hot selling brands have synthetic material in those as well as chemicals. So be careful.

take warm water 3-4 times in a day...starts with empty stomach. take more salad...cabbage cucumber carrots... take a diet rich in fibres and vitamin C ....less carbohydrates and fats and proteins Do jogging or fast walking for Atleast 1hr daily. follow for 2 months for good result.

Hye, Thanks for the query. You are overweight by 13 to 15 kgs as per your height. Firstly it is important to understand that weight /fat loss involves sensible eating. You have to eat the right foods at the right time. Eat small but frequent meals.     Reduce your main meals by 1/4th  the amount. Take a glass of lime water 10minutes before meals. Avoid long gaps in between meals. Avoid junk as far as possible. Exercise at least 4 times a week. Lastly be committed.                        Remember it's a lifestyle change and not a one time thing.     It's a balanced intake that will last you longer. All the so called diets will only give you muscle and bone loss. The fats will remain as it is. So, try to first follow this seemingly simple tips.

Hi..both things are important for reducing body weight...1st its 30 to 45minute cardeo exercises preferable walking and 2nd its diet control or taking healthy nutrtious diet.. Drink warm water with lemon and honey early in the morning.. Maximum intake of green tea and water. Dinner it should be light maximum till 8pm.. Avoid refined and high sugar and fatty food.. Take high fibre low salt low sugar low fat diet...take non fatty protein parts only like skimmed milk egg white part etc...

Your bmi is 39. 5 and you are morbidly obese. You have to persist with a low carbohydrate and low fat high protein diet. Stop all cereals, sugar, bakery products and desserts. Take the white of 2 boiled eggs and lots of fruits and green vegetables and salads. If you don' t loose weight soon you will develop diabetes also. You need bariatric surgery. Best way to reduce fat is exercise and diet control. Take pranacharya medohar rasayn twice a day. Medohar guggul 2-2 twice a day. And pranacharya slim capsule 1-1 twice a day. Avoid junk food. Oily food. Fermented food. Sugar. Milk products and sweets. Take oats and cereals more. And do pranayama early in the morning and walk for atleast 45 minutes a day. And do exercises. Dont sleep immediately after taking meal.

FOR YOUR MOM. Most of the time, underlying the thyroid disorder is years of abuse of our body. When you don't take proper care of your own nutrition, sleep and invest time for proper exercise, at some point various hormonal systems of body go out of sync. It is very important to have your thyroid hormones as tablets as per your doctor's prescription and periodic check up. And just doing it may reduce your weight little bit. But it will not be enough. You need to work on root cause of this issue. Avoid all junk food and all sweet food. Low fat diet does not work for majority of people. Eat wholesome nutritious food full of fibres, good quality fat like ghee and coconut etc. Don't focus on calories but on nutritional density and diversity. Simultaneously working on exercise and diet will surely help. Best rate to lose weight is 1/2 kg per week. If that happens, it is least likely to go high again in future. You do not have to do rigorous exercise to lose weight but start with something small. Let us say 8 minute workout. Go to you tube and type 8 minute workout and you will see many options. Pick one which you like and can do. Trying to lose weight in very short time will need some form of crash diet. Even if you lose weight doing this kind of crash diet, you will get it all back within no time and all the gain will be mainly fat. Not good for your health. Be gentle and patient with yourself. Demonstrate commitment in your persistent efforts. Make comprehensive change in diet, exercise, sleep and stress in your routine. This is called lifestyle medicine. If you can not do it on your own, find some expert who can help you in this over extended period of time. Best wishes.
