Dear you can easily gain weight and get a healthy muscular body by following these best things - 1. To gain weight, your digestion should work properly. If you have any disease of digestive system you should treat disease first. For proper digestion - take 10 gms powder of carom seeds (ajwain, 10 gm powder of cumin (jeera), 10 gm of rock salt. Mix them well and take 1/2 teaspoon (3-5 gm) of mixture daily after meal. Or take 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper (kali mirch), 1/ 2 tea spoon of jeera (cumin), 2-3 slice of ginger. Boil it in one glass of water for 2-3 minutes. Drink 5-10 teaspoons (15-20 ml) in morning and evening for strong digestive system. Or you can take amla powder 1 teaspoon with water for strong digestion. 2. Take a diet rich with proteins and fats. You should take high calorie food that increase your muscle mass and induce growth in bones. I am sending the diet chart. Hi i am having Current LFT test shows Total Bilirubin as 2.3, Direct bilirubin - 0.7, Indirect - 1.6. LFT done a month back shows Total (1.82),Direct - 0.88, Indirect - 0.94. Hi lybrate-user. Raised bilirubin tells that you are having jaundice. It can be due to many reasons like hepatitis of stone in biliary tract or other causes. Gall bladder not visualized on ultrasound is not a matter of concern. You need to firstly detect the cause of high bilirubin. It is done after clinical assessment by physician and after some blood and other tests. Treatment will be dependant on the cause.

Mango is a mouth-watering juicy fruit rich in vitamins and minerals. But eating mangoes alone will not help. You need to consume them along with milk. You can also prepare mango milkshake and drink it two times daily for a month.

I'm 18 years old im working 2 hours in gym for extra energy can I take creatine monohydrate im hearing lots of myths about it and confused.

Hye. A normal workout in the gym may not justify creatine supplentation. To some extent supplementation will affect strength/power athletes, who are into regular 3 to 4 hours into training. It will help only if you are into high intensity training or intense training bouts in the first heavy reps. So, you need to assess your needs and not just randomly rush into supplements just because you join a gym.

Repeat this exercise 5-8 times in morning. *sit on the floor, stretch you legs together so that both foot touch each other. Now raise your arms upwards together with back straight, now move your hands towardstoes of feet and touch them. Your forehead touching your knees. Slowly revert back the arms and move back arms in normal position. Repeat this exercise 2-4 times daily. You can privately consult me for understanding more exercises. I assure you that you definitely gain weight & height fastly by following them. Be healthy.

Dear lybrate user, increasing weight does not mean that you will go fatty. In fact, extra fat serves as a precursor of many diseases. In order to increase your weight as well as stay healthy you have to increase the muscle mass of your body. Normally a muscle undergoes an increase in size when it gets hypertrophied due to weight training. Weight-training leads to the pumping of blood to the muscle resulting in increased protein synthesis in the muscles. This applies to every muscles of human body. So, weight training is a must to increase weight. Whenever a muscle gets hypertrophied it demands protein to expand. Here comes the need of protein supplement. The most effective protein supplement is whey protein. But kindly remember only taking supplement is not enough. You need to take those supplements according to a fixed schedule. For quicker & better results take 40 grams of whey just after waking from sleep at morning. Take another 20 grams of whey just 30 minutes before workout. Again take 40 grams of whey just after you have finished your workout. Kindly remember gaining weight is a time -taking process. So do not expect any result within fortnight.

Don't drink water before meals. This can fill your stomach and make it harder to get in enough calories. Eat more often. Drink milk. Try weight gainer shakes. Use bigger plates. Add cream to your coffee. Take creatine. Get quality sleep. You need to take a balanced diet.

I'm preparing for a 10k running event. What precautions should I take to ensure I remain injury proof during the training?

Hello lybrate-user, first of all congratulations for enrolling in 10k event. 1. The very first precaution is to prepare mentally as well physically for the event. 2. Before going for a training run always warm up. 3. Keep yourself hydrated. 4. Remember rome was not built in one day. Same way you have to make your body compatible to run such a long distance. For that increase the distance of running under the guidance of a trainer or join a group of people who are regular participants of such events 5. If you cannot find such a group and are preparing alone then start running for shorter distances at first and then as your stamina grows increase the distance. Your body shud b habitual to run for a long span of time which requires practice on a regular basis. 6. Don't practice everyday. Do it twice or thrice a week. Do cardio and breathing exercises in between days as it allows your body to recuperate. 7. Have proper nutrition to make up for your lost strength. 8. If you feel like a muscle spasm then don't try to run. Have a rest of a day or two. 9. Wear knee caps or brace to avoid injuries. If any query feel free to enquire. I wish you the best.

First you should follow low calories food for weight loss. * in morning, take 1-2 chapattis with a bowl of cooked green vegetables. You can take a glass of lemon water with it. *in lunch you can take a bowl of raw vegetables like carrot, radish, tomatoes, turnip or beetroot. *in evening, you can take a cup of green tea only with some pieces of friuts like apple, pineapple, pear. Avoid taking banana or mango. *in dinner, you can take vegetable soup or a bowl of cooked vegetables. But do not take potato, sweet potatoes. * you can take a cup skimmed milk 4 times a week only during day time. * work out for atleast 1 hour in morning, you can try skipping for 15 minutes with a walk of 30 minutes and 5-10 minutes running. Follow these exercises in the morning - * lie down on flat surface, raise your legs without bending your knees, do it for 3-5 times daily. * do not eat fastfoods and soft drinks, as they have high calories and the calories deposit in body in the form of weight if not utilised.

1. Keep yourself hydrated. 2. Get extra rest for some days till you feel more energetic. 3. Avoid watching television for long hours. Indulge in relaxing activities. 4. Avoid stress and too much physical exertion. 5. Take a nutritious diet with more protein items in homemade food like soya, sprouts, dals, paneer, milk, seasonal fruits. 6. Tushar, general weakness after a blood donation is very common and it ll wear off very soon. Just follow the steps given below strictly: - drink lots of water. If your urine colour is slightly darker than normal, then it means your body needs more fluid. Drink water or fresh juices added with sugar to restore energy, fluid levels and glucose levels. - do not do heavy work or strenuous exercises for the next five days. - incorporate more of green leafy vegetables, meat or rice items in your diet. - have 6-7 hours of sleep every night.

Each body is different. You should not compare with others. Aim is to be strong and fit. To gain some weight, you need to eat healthy. Take small meals but eat something solid every 2 hours. 1. Take at least two fruits per day and one glass fruit juice. 2. Take one peanut butter sandwich daily. 3. Eat 20 almonds / cashew daily 4. Drink full cream milk, curd, lassi, chikoo shakes etc. 5. If your are non veg you can have more eggs, chicken, fish. 6. Dals have good protien. Have more rajma, kabuli chana, soya beans etc. 7. Avoid junk food and colas. Avoid chips and other namkeen. 8. No need for any supplements. Nature has best products. 9. Go for regular walks / exercise / do yoga. Sleep well. Take deworming tablets every six month.  Feel confident about yourself and be positive. All the best.
