Hello lybrate-user, instead of taking strong painkiller tablets for your headache, why don't you try taking homeopathic medicine? you can take homeopathic belladonna 200, 4 pills three times a day whenever you get headache. I am 56 years old and I have back pain and also pain on my right leg mainly below the knee till the angle sometimes. I have done Mri and the diagnosis is degeneration of lumbar or lumbosacral intervertebral disc. Is there any cure without operation.

Hi, please, tk, d help of physiotherapy to get relief quickly. Tk, homoeo medicine, @ rhus tox 200-6 pills, thrice a day. @ colocynth 200-6 pills, thrice a day. @ five phos6x-4 tbs, thrice a day. Go for meditation to reduce your stress, & to nourish your whole body to ease your problem. Rotat your lumber rejion clockwise & anticlockwise. Take tab. Meftal spas sos for abdomen pain. Tan. Zintac 300 mg once a day for 3 days. Avoid spicy foods, oily,junk,fatty foods, Take whole grain foods, plenty of water, there are many causes of abdomen pain. i.e. acidity, heavy meal, gastritis, fatty liver, infection in any organs of abdomen, if not ok pl. checkup usg whole abdomen, cbc, urine r/m, blood sugar, lft, kft, and consult again. welcome in lybrate.

This is not related to heart. It may be localised pain due to some boil or related local lesion if it pains on touch. Surgeon would more appropriate doctor for you, in this case.

1.For your age pain chest could be due to anxiety, stress, Physical and mental strain 2. Avoid stress and strain 3.Do regular exercise, Yoga, Meditation, deep breathing exercise like pranayama etc. It will calm your mind, control your emotion and relieve stress 4.Take paracetamol 500mg one tablet sos after food up to a maximum of three tablets daily, 5. Dear, if you have neuro problem in your left leg then see your neuro physician and get the lumbar mri done to rule out any nerve complications. Till then do back stretching and strengthening exercise. Avoid sitting for long in single position. Take care.

Most leg pain results from wear and tear, overuse, or injuries in joints or bones or in muscles, ligaments, tendons or other soft tissues. Leg pain can also be caused by blood clots, varicose veins or poor circulation. To relieve mild pain: stay off your leg as much as possible apply an ice pack or bag of frozen peas to the affected area for 15 to 20 minutes three times a day elevate your leg whenever you sit or lie down please go to a physiotherapist if: you have pain during or after walking you have swelling in both legs your pain gets worse your symptoms don't improve after a few days of home treatment you have painful varicose veins if you feel the pain is from muscle cramp then you need to drink a lot of water because poor fluid intake (dehydration) may predispose to cramps also low blood levels of either calcium or magnesium directly cause cramps.

1. Eat healthy food. Avoid junk/ spicy/fried/oily foods/ excessive tea & coffee. 2. It is better to avoid / moderate smoking and alcohol for rapid and long term relief. Tea, coffee, smoking, alcohol are important causes of gastritis / stomach problems. 3. Eat homemade food. Include more fibres in your diet (plenty of salads, vegetables, seasonal fruits, and complex carbs like Dalia, oats and whole wheat bread etc.). 4. Eat frequent meals. 5. Eat all your meals on time. Do not give a long gap between your meals which might result in flatulence. 6. Take a light and early dinner. 7. Try to keep yourself active. Exercise, do brisk walk, take a break between works and stretch yourself in between. Medication - 1. Tab. Mftal-spas as and when required no more than 3 tablets in a day. 2. Tab. Pentaprazole 40 mg one hour before food once a day for 5 days. Then discuss the problem in detail, which medicines you have taken, how duration of this pain, since when it was started? etc.

I am facing problem. Breathing from last few days and am having chest pain sometimes .Sometimes I feel like am unable to breath and face anxiety as well, actually feel depressed sometimes, I am facing Hypertension problem and taking homeopathic medicine for high bp .i feel stressed due to suffocation and cant get my ans .consulted various doctors. Dear Lybrateuser, - For your problems to improve you first have to reduce your weight as it is the main cause of breathing problems & hypertension, this you should do by diet & exercise - monitor your BP at least twice a day, once on getting up in the morning & once in the evening, make a record & see if the medication you are taking is having effect & lowering it - have more of vegetables & fruits in your diet, whole grains & low fat dairy, avoid fried, processed & junk food, aerated drinks, sweets, salty snacks, have yogurt, salad, sprouts, nuts if you feel hungry - do regular exercise like walking for about an hour, do moderate weight lifting on at least two days of the week as it helps boost your metabolism & help reduce weight, also try to include yoga, meditation& deep breathing exercise for 10-15 min in the morning to relax your mind & keep your body fit - keep your self busy in your work, read, listen to music, socialize with friends so that you stop worrying & feel better - keep your sleep & wake up time fixed & try to sleep well for at least 7-8 hrs at night, avoid watching TV, mobile, other gadgets an hour before sleep, a sound & refreshing sleep reduces stress & keeps you alert & active the next day, do not nap for more than half an hour in the afternoon - you have to make an effort & have a strong willpower to change your habits which will keep you healthy & fit.
