A complication where the blood supply to the brain is stopped is called stroke. Slurred speech, facial paralysis and an inability to lift both the arms are symptoms of this disorder. There are two types of strokes- ischemic, where blood supply is impaired and hemorrhagic, where the blood vessels supplying blood to the brain bursts. High cholesterol, obesity and lack of exercise causes stroke.
