Plague is a dangerous blood infection, transmitted via fleas that are found on the skin surfaces of rats, rabbits and wild animals. It is highly contagious and spreads at a rapid rate. Pneumonic plague is the most lethal form of the disease and the symptoms include bloody sputum, troubled breathing, fever , cough chest pain and headache. Plague is a potentially dangerous disease till date.

At present, instances of Plague is very rare and are mostly found in Africa.
