Myosin Storage Myopathy is known to result in the weakness of muscles over a gradual period of time. It leads to development of protein clumps in muscle fibers of the body. This condition is very rare and starts showing signs during childhood. Children suffering from Myosin Storage Myopathy tend to start walking at a later stage and generally have a waddling gait. They have a problem with motor functions and face difficulty while climbing stairs, lifting objects and some even have trouble breathing. It is an inherited condition and it can be treated using physical therapy, occupational therapy or speech therapy.
