Cellulitis is a skin infection which occurs when bacteria start to enter the skin and start reproducing. The infection thereby causes swelling, redness and inflammation. A person who suffers from diabetes, circulatory problems or any problems of the liver would be more susceptible to the disease. An open wound, an infection after surgery, and long term skin conditions are some of the causes held responsible for this condition. A blood test is the most common method of diagnosis.
HOW IS CELLULITIS DIAGNOSED?
Computed Tomography or CT scan is the common method of diagnosis.
