A rare parasitic infection caused by ticks is known as Babesiosis. In this condition the production of the red blood cells is greatly reduced, leading to anemia. Fever, headache, loss of appetite, dizziness, blood in urine and muscle pain are the common symptoms of this condition. A mild infection can be recovered naturally, whereas severe cases can be treated through several medications and therapies.
