Nail biting habit is a stress relieving habit.
Do exercises/yoga...avoid stress and anxiety.
Black colour of nail could be due to Fungal infection. .

Do muscle building exercise like weight lifting, yoga, push ups and other muscle building exercise. Avoid spicy and excessive oily foods. Eat foods more frequently with extra amount than before. Use whole cream milk. Take extra refined foods with unrefined. Use dense vegetables, fruits. Add extra healthy fats in cooking. Avoid smoking, alcohol. Drink plenty of water but not just before or during meals. Take proper rest at night.
