try the following tips to help soothe pain and ease into your day:
1> take a warm shower or bath - warm showers or baths at bedtime and in the morning will help to relax muscles.
2> avoid caffeine, alcohol, and nicotine 3> too much of stooping posture esp while texting on phone causes neck pain hence avoid that.
4> start isometric exercises for your neck and strengthening exercises for your legs - consult physiotherapist for this.

What r other symptoms that you r experiencing?
By doing what like walking, exertion, eating or empty stomach- it increases or decreases in intensity. For how much time the pain remains?
Is there stiffness also?
How is your appetite?
R you constipated?

Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it.
SPRING BEDS, FOLDING BEDS OR THICK MATRESS ARE HARMFUL
Use no pillow under the head.
DO HOT FOMANTATION.

Hi, You can do yoga as long as pain, tingling sensation or loss of sensation does not occur around the neck region. Even if you have the slightest discomfort or pain around the neck then you must stop the movement being performed.

hb, tlc, dlc, esr, sugar f & pp, uric acid, vit d3
urine r/e
x ray of the affected part. Anyway you may try-
