Benefits of yoga for joint pain
Pain in the joints can limit a person from enjoying their life on a daily basis as they have a problem in doing trivial things. The pain of the joints is quite excruciating and it may arise due to several factors like lack of nutrients in the body, or bones diseases like arthritis. For people suffering from joint pain, yoga can provide the best natural solution of alleviating the pain. Every joint in the body has its range of motion. When this range of motion gets affected the movement of the joint also gets restricted. Yoga improves the range of motion of the joint which enhances the movement of the joints. Inflammation and weakness of the muscles that support the joint also can cause joint pain in a person.
The yoga asanas provide strength to the muscles supporting the joints. Yoga also helps in enhancing the strength of the bones which makes the bones healthy again. In the movable joints, proper flow of the synovial fluid is essential. Sometimes the pain in the joint is due to restricted flow of synovial fluid. Yoga improves the circulation of synovial fluids. The asanas in yoga also help in keeping the cartilage of the joints healthy. Given below are some of the asanas that help a person in managing and gradually alleviating pain in the joints.

Conclusion
While suffering from joint pain besides yoga, consuming foods that help in easing the inflammation and in the joints can work wonders. Fortunately, there are some food products that have anti-inflammatory properties. These foods not only have anti-inflammatory properties but they also improve the overall health condition of the joints. Firstly consuming foods rich in gluten and sugar must be avoided. Rather than these food products a person must incorporate foods such as salmon fish as it is rich in omega-3 fatty acids which have anti-inflammatory properties. Deficiency of vitamin D can also lead to pain in the joints in that case also consuming salmon fish is beneficial as it improves the level of vitamin D in the body.
Adding ginger in the food also helps as studies have revealed that ginger has great anti-inflammatory properties. Incorporating broccoli in the diet can reduce the symptoms of joint pain. If a person is taking any medication for the joint pain after the consultation of the doctor then it must be continued as advised by the doctor. A combination of yoga with a healthy diet and medication can lead to joint pain being alleviated completely.
