Dear Lybrateuser, - The normal heart rate is between 60-100 beats / min, yours is in normal range
- your problem could be due to acidity & anxiety
- avoid spicy, fried & junk food, also restrict tea, coffee to 1-2 cups per day - chew food well, have 4-5 small meals rather than three large meals, do not skip meals, have meals on time
- destress by doing regular exercise, include yoga, meditation & deep breathing for 5-10 min daily morning
- sleep well for 7-8 hrs at night.

Heart is present on the left side of chest whereas you experience pain in r. Chest. So I think you are not clear regarding your question. But pain in r. Side of chest is suggestive of either a muscular pain, neuralgic pain or some chest infection. The correct diagnosis can be made only after physical examination. Through lifestyle changes like smoking cessation, healthy eating, exercise, and managing diabetes, blood pressure and stress, you can greatly reduce your chance of heart disease.
