Dear lybrate-user,
Congratulations for quitting smoking for past 6 months. Usually the craving for nicotine comes down in 6 month's time. The nicotine gum should be taken as per your need in the beginning. You need to gradually increase time between 2 gums. Please take long term, say 12 weeks or so. Along with that you need psychosocial help also to continuously motivating you.
