There is no need to over-consume water.. There is no rule to take 4 liters.
Take as per Your need. and as per the weather.
Usually one glass of water per hour is fine. When you work out you may need more.
Let your body guide your water consumption.
Avoid drinking water before meals since your are trying to gain weight.

Hi, greetings from your ayurveda wellness coach.
Yes, you can drink jeera water after exercises and you can add a bit of honey too in it. Before exercises, you need to have less quantity of water. If you are taking moderate quantity, for example 1/2 teaspoon of jeera in water can be consumed for some timer period and then gradually stop.

For weight loss,
-Prefer home cooked food over outside food or store bought food items
-Cut back junk and processed foods'
-Avoid sugars and starches
-Eat more proteins, vegetables, fruits and good fats (nuts and nut butters etc.)

For a normal weight reducing diet, the quality of food is reduced as per the reduced calorie restrictions. Emphasis is given or more roughage and liquids.
The following items are deleted:-
a) butter, ghee and coconuts chutney.
B) fried food items.
C) egg yolk.
D) high calorie fruits like banana.
This diet provides about 1000-1200 calories and 40-45gm of protein.

There are no special drinks to reduce weight. Lemon / honey does not lead to any weight loss. These are all myths.
1. Its possible to lose weight by a positive change in food habits and lifestyle only.
2. Add 2-3 Fruits per day taken before meals. 3. Cut down Sweets/Biscuits/ Colas from your diet. Take 10-15 almonds per day. 4. Completely eliminate Puris/Parathas/Pizzas/Burgers/Fried Rice etc

I will suggest you to do suryanamaskar daily as per your capacity for a minimum of six months and for loosing weight few tips on diet say no to maida items like toast, khaari ,naan ,white bread. Can drink tea but without sugar say no to Buffalo milk and can drink cows milk can eat brown bread can eat sprout's can eat green vegetables, can eat chappati ,bajra ka rotla can eat one katori of rice twice a day with dal to avoid farsan food items can eat fruits say no to coconut water.
