We cannot draft and send a diet plan here as it needs lot of information, needs calculations and is a time taking process. For weight loss there is no one food that will do good/miracle or bad. Have balanced diet with lots of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, milletes, and stay hydrated. Avoid refined food items (bakery, maida) ,fried, greesy, salty and sugary food items. Ensure there is some kind of protein in each meal like milk/milk product, soy, tofu, fish, chicken, eggs.
Exercise atleast 5 days /week will give good results.

To start with avoid simple sugars as far as possible like sugar, jaggery, honey, sweets, candies, chocolates, cold drinks etc. 'Eat Out' less, avoid junk and have good quantity of fresh foods which are not processed like fruits, vegetables, soups, salads, nuts, low fat milk, curd etc. Gradually, focus on higher protein intake, lower fat and restrict carbohydrates to high fibre foods only. Keep your diet hot, fresh, light and timely.
Keep Jowar bhakari instead of wheat chapaties.
Breakfast and lunch quantity should be normal, but dinner quantity should be very less.

If you want to confirm that weight you gained is due to hypothyroid, get you TSH tesy done.
If want to loose weight you have to stick to low fat, low callory, high fibre diet. For this you have to restrict your intake of nonveg, oils,ghee, butter,sweets, sugar and increase intake of vegetables and salad. Avoid junk food.
Regular exercise is essential part of weight reduction.

Avoid all outside food that includes junk, processed food as well as food items that are oily, sugary, or salty. Instead eat home cooked meals with 4 to 5 servings of fruits and veggies. Have your dinner early and keep it light. Eat a protein rich breakfast every morning. Drink plenty of water throughout the day; especially before meals.
