Medical abortion22 year old female 4 weeks pregnant (confirmed by doctor via ultrasound) 170 cm79kgno prior medical history, not on any drugsdo not smoke or during I am 22 and use protection regularly. However I have been very unlucky and had to have 2 prior medical abortions. Both have been due to the condom breaking. Ive fallen pregnant again and I need to terminate it. I understand I sound extremely irresponsible however I do use regular contraception. I wanted to ask since I am 4 weeks I would opt for a medical abortion as opposed to surgical. (also due to financial reasons) I was wondering will my 2 prior abortions affect the effectiveness of having this third one? I have consulted a doctor and he keeps pushing for surgical (i did not inform him of my 2 previous abortions) and now I am very distraught. I do not want a failed medical abortion which will incur me more cost. Please help advice thank you.

After taking the high hormonal emergency pill one gets withdrawal bleeding 5 to 10 days later, and then a new cycle starts.-new counting.
Presence of withdrawal bleeding means no pregnancy by sex prior to it.
If this does not happen as well as the period is missed then do a pregnancy test.

Nothing special for you.
In any woman, if abortion pills fail and a procedure is required it has a small risk.
Very important- if planning to have one more baby in life better to continue this.

It is not problem.
First period sometimes comes late.
I assume you are taking care to prevent pregnancy because during this time one needs to do that.
You will need some reports, vaccinations and supplements prior to next pregnancy.
