You can take upto 5 days and slowly taper and decrease the dose as per your bleeding. Do check your hemoglobin levels if this is happening constantly and make sure you do not have any contraindications to taking trapic that is conditions which increase risk of clotting. So the aim should be to stop menses with progesterone only pills. But if you wish your menses to arrive then best shall be to be on low dose oc pills.
