Mr. lybrate-user Singh, Thanks for the query.
Lemon water seem to help in reducing uric acid level as it helps dissolve the uric acid crystals. So lemon water is taken to prevent a gout attack. It appears to be beneficial. Thanks.

It effects usually small joints. the big toe of foot is the commonest area. Other parts can be toes finger joints, wrist ,ankle. large joints are rarely involved. If you have pain in larger joint,it could be because of some other reason like Vitamin d3 deficiency rather than uric acid.

I am sorry to hear about your concern but will be happy to assist you.
Grapes have the ability to reduce the acidity of uric acid. They also help remove the acid from your system, thus reducing the load on your kidneys. Owing to their high water content, grapes also induce frequent urination, which washes away the uric acid present in the body.
Let's connect over a call so that we can discuss your concern in details and make a suitable treatment plan for you.

Uric acid is a naturally occurring waste product resulting from the breakdown of purines, crystalline compounds found in certain foods. Under normal conditions, uric acid dissolves in the blood, passes through the kidneys and is eliminated in the urine. If the diet is high in foods containing purine, or the kidneys are unable to eliminate excessive uric acid, high uric acid levels, known as hyperuricemia or gout, occur.

The first thing you should do is to eat foods that are high in fiber, This is because fiber rich foods absorb uric acid from the blood. Your kidneys then 'throw' out the excess uric acid. Try to eat Oatmeal, Spinach, cauliflowers and Isabgol in milk if possible.
Please use olive oil to cook your food. Kindly avoid vegetable oils because they become unhealthy when heated twice. This leads to rancid fat in the body. These destroy vitamin E, that in turn controls uric acid levels. Olive oil al...more
