There's no connection between Galvus Met 100 --post dinner and sleep and the sleep disturbance can be due to other diseases or you anxiety. You can take painkillers for pain (not for to long) and take glass of milk before bedtime.

HbA1c% 5.9 is good. But equally important is to know fasting & Pp glucose levels, plus diet pattern and extent of daily exercise. Since you have very good control, there is no reason to reduce the dosage. Thanks.

In a case of overt diabetes with high glucose levels, only appropriate treatment is to take modern drugs to control glucose, plus r do regular exercise and take a restricted diet. All other methods of treatment claim to control the glucose, but there is hardly any benefit. Thanks.

The glucose levels mentioned are showing good control. It means present treatment is working well. However, looking at your height and weight it is clear that with a BMI of 40 kgs/Sq meter, you are already morbidly obese. Your ideal weight should be around 54 kgs. Hence, even a small amount of 5 to % reduction will help in better blood glucose control or it is possible you may revert to being free from diabetes. Thanks.
