There is no mention of fasting, PP glucose levels & HbA1c%, therefore, it is difficult to know how the blood glucose is controlled. Unless I am given following information: Fasting, PP glucose levels & HbA1c% & dietary pattern it is difficult to comment any thing.

No, change in diet or eating a particular diet will not reverse the condition. Kindly read about diabetes and it's management from the internet.
