Trigger finger is classified as repititive stress injury.
Cause of trigger finger is the thickening of one the tendon ie called flexor tendon of your finger.
It is treated well with conservative management like icing the affected area and doing exercises like tendon gliding exercise. Splinting in severe cases is also done to protect the affected tendon.
