Yes, it can go to another fingers. Many times it happens because of side-effect of anti-hypertensive.
So you need to co-relate this problem with the physician under whom you taking treatment. So that that medicine can be stopped and another medicine can be started.

Trigger finger is common in diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis, hyperuricemia, hypothyroidism, etc. Rule out these. Trigger finger is term used by orthopedic surgeon and not by a patient, if you haven't consulted anyone, you can't be sure of your diagnosis. There are many conditions which can cause finger pain. Usually trigger finger causes pain in palm and finger gets stuck in flexed position, which releases with a snap/click.

2.Wearing a brace or splint to restrict motion and rest the hand.
3.Applying heat or ice to reduce swelling.
4.Placing your hand in warm water several times throughout the day to relax the tendons and muscles.
Exercises..Lay your hand out flat on a table or solid surface. Use your other hand to hold the affected finger. Slowly lift up the finger and keep the rest of your fingers flat.
