Hi
welcome to lybrate
Vit E is safe and no toxicity is reported even when you take it for few months. But no medication should be taken unnecessarily .
It is called antioxidant vitamin and prevents excess production of free radicals. It is claimed to be very helpful in all degenerative diseases-- heart disease, atherosclerosis etc.
If you inform why you want to use it----I can suggest whether it is worth taking or not.

for further information you can consult me

Multivitamins should be taken under the guidance of health care practitioners. And first you have to check your full biochemical test whether to know is there any vitamin and mineral deficient in the body. Then only multivitamins are helpful. Otherwise food is a medicine take good amount of fruits, milk and green vegetables etc. Which is rich in vitamins and minerals. In that case it is important to do a full body analysis.
