Pain on the tail bone could be due to various reasons like arthric changes, disc problems .Kindly do a blood investigations to know anything related to inflamation? Do ESR, CRP AND GENERAL BLOOD TEST .Then I can suggest proper medicines .For time being apply any pain relieving ointments.

The lower end of the vertebral column is inflamed and that bone is called coccyx bone and the condition is called Coccydynia.
