Hello dear lybrate-user, hi
Warm welcome to Lybrate.com
I have evaluated your query thoroughly.* Though surgery was successful, this issue is due to nerve compression from the surgery, needs evaluation with MRI for further management. Hope this clears your query. Wishing you fine recovery. Welcome for any further assistance. Regards take care.

Hi definitive management for diaphargmatic hernia repair is surgery only. There are no medications with which this defect can be corrected. I think you should follow your surgeons advice and depending upon the symptoms plan for elective laparoscopic surgery. Do understand with him whether it is recurrence of previous haital hernia only or some separate region.
