The most common type of surgery for anal fistulas is a fistulotomy. A fistulotomy is the most effective treatment for many anal fistulas, although it's usually only suitable for fistulas that don't pass through much of the sphincter muscles, as the risk of incontinence is lowest in these cases.
The cost is variable in hospitals and surgeons and aiims is the best hospital in delhi.

You have problem of recurrent anal fistula. Placing seton in fistulous tract helps in drainage of pus discharge so that abscess formation should not occur. However it does not heal the fistula. The only thing is that due to continuous discharge there is no inflammation/ there is no pain. For complete treatment of anal fistula; you should undergo graded ksharsutra therapy which is a non surgical procedure and no hospitalization or bed rest is required. You can continue your normal routine activit...more

Fistula in ano can not treated by oral medicines. Anti biotics can give only temporary relief. So usually surgery is advised for this problem. But surgery is not right choice for the reason of recurrence of fistula after surgery. In appox. 20-25 % cases fistula recurs after surgery. Besides this other complications like stool incontinence (inability to hold stool) etc. Are also seen in surgery for fistula in ano. How ever this problem can be completely treated without surgery by graded ksharsutr...more
