Second reason can be due to dementia, which happens to shrinkage of the brain affecting recent memory and which is caused/ aggravated by the sleeping pill, alprazolam. This can also be confirmed either by ct/ or mri brain scan. The third reason can be late onset psychosis, in which the scan will be normal. Kin...more

Hello - you have done well in trying to taper down the clonazepam dose gradually over the past few months
- currently you are on a very low dose of 0.0625 mg-0.125 mg every second day. If you have no withdrawal symptoms at present, then just take 0.0625 mgs every other day for about 4 weeks. If no withdrawal symptoms after 4 weeks, then you can stop. If you have any symptoms, consult your doctor for additional monitoring and support. Take care.

You mention that you wife's condition is schizophrenia and that she is on medications that are anti-anxiety anti-depressants in nature. I also am not sure if your mentioning lamitor od 200 in the medication list is even possible. However, we need more information as to why a troponin t test was done and if it was due to chest pain and a repeat troponin t test is elevated as well, you need to immediately consult a emergency physician and your psychiatrist. Please do so as soon as possible.
