By asd you mean atrial septal defect right? All asd don't require surgery. 25% of living adult have asds. The matter is does he have any symptoms of cynosis (bluing of extremities) or any other allied symptoms? Surgery and modern medicines are the only cure of this. I would not recommend you going the ayurveda route since the results are very wage.

I feel ---you have to first have an ent check up for hearing function. Then have a check up with all clinical investigations-- by a psychiatrist/psychologist team--then only come to a diagnosis and appropriate treatment.

The syrups being given are to reduce the behaviour problems and won't directly improve the speech. Consult a child psychiatrist for proper doing of the same. Only intensive ot and speech therapy would improve the outcome in the parameters you mentioned, medications will help him being receptive to the same. Good luck.
