Have a check up for Caries or abrasion, attrition or erosion to know the exact cause of sensitivity to cold. If all your teeth are found normal, then nothing to worry. The usual recommendation is to avoid excessive hot or cold for the better health of your teeth. Prophylactic Use of sensitivity tooth pastes is not advisable too.

Sensodyne toothpaste for sensitivity,,and for whitening use baking soda at night with toothpaste and rinse ur mouth with lemon water rub a slice of lemon to ur teeth this will help to whiten teeth

A major cause of tooth sensitivity is root exposure. Kindly consult a dentist in person for further suggestion. We need more investigations with clinical examination to decide upon treatment. You may need cleaning along with desensitizing procedures and / or artificial enamel filling and / or root canal treatment. Advance procedures can be done with laser too.
