Hi. I'm a 22 years old girl. From my childhood, there is like a small lump in my both sides of under the jaws. Everyone says that everybody has this lump under the jaws. This lump occurs due to cold. In my childhood, I had take a lot of cold items. But from the time of it occurred to till now, it remains the same. No changes in its size. There's no pain. It rolls inside under the jaw. I can split it separately and show to someone to touch it. Few months before, in both sides under the jaws, there is little 2,3 lumps have occurred. Few days before I have a severe cold and fever. From that, often it gives little pain. When it pains, if I touch and roll that lump, it will give me relief. And unnecessarily it pains under the ear also. It looks like also there is a little lump. After all this, I don't have any other disturbances due to these lumps. So may I know what is this? Does it cause any severe problem in future? What is the treatment and is there any chance to get cancer through this? Note: I don't know these are the actual lumps. It looks like lumps. And everybody says that everyone has this, and it will disappear often. But for me, it doesn't disappear till now from my childhood.

Keratosis pharyngitis is a medical condition where keratin grows on the surface of the pharynx, which is the part of the throat at the back of the mouth. It is characterized by the presence of whitish-yellow dots on the pharyngeal wall, tonsils or lingual tonsils. They are firmly adherent and cannot be wiped off.
If tonsil stones hurt or make it difficult to swallow, people can try gargling with warm saltwater. A doctor may recommend treatment to remove tonsil stones.

It's not tonsils stone as location is different. You need to consult specialist for a checkup. It is very important to go for health check-up with your doctor so that you can be physically examined and your overall health can be accessed.
