It is dependent on the position of your wisdom tooth with bone.
For that opg x-ray is required to gauge 1. The level of bone covering the tooth, 2. Tooth placement with the nerve, 3. Clinically how it is placed in the mouth and 4. Its relationship with the opposing teeth, 5. Chances for its eruption. If the patient complains of pain, and restricted mouth opening then it is advisable to take the wisdom tooth out. Yes probably it is due to traumatic extraction of the adjacent tooth. Sometimes this can happen.
Rinse your mouth after having meals immedaitely with warm saline water.
Keep your oral hygiene good.
Don't disturb that area with tongue.
And visit your dentist for further advice. You can apply gum paint to soothe and heal that area.

Hello lybrate-user ji
generally a crown is given after rct. If you don't have a crown I strongly recommend to get one. If you have a crown placed and still the problem persists, visit your dentist for any modification /replacement of the crown.
It is also helpful to use a dental floss and toothbrushing (after meals) to prevent this problem from occurring.

Your experience of temporary anaesthesia or paraesthesia after an atraumatic surgical wisdom teeth removal will certainly subside.
90% of lingual nerve injuries are temporary and gets better soon.
Any functional deficits like speech and mastication difficulties, tongue and cheek biting, taste dysfunction are the symptoms of permanent lingual nerve injury which you don’t have. So ignore it for now.

Limited opening can be due to your erupting molars on both sides that can cause pain.
- the gum over the molars can incorporate food particles and may cause pain due to infection under the gum. You need to get it cleaned thouroughly either by getting the gum over tooth removed or the tooth itself.
- do warm saline rinses 3-4 times a day to keep that area clean.
- limited opening can be due to the chewing of pan, that causes the mouth to become stiff. Practice mouth opening exercises....more

Hello! firstly, the cause of tooth pain has to be elicited.
Unnecessary medications should be avoided always prior to treatment.
If you have got your treatment done already, then it is well and good. But if you are merely taking medicines without proper treatment of pain, it is advisable to visit the dentist and get the treatment first.
The tooth pain can be due to many reasons like cavity, sensitivity or any kind of trauma.
