Ipc done in a tooth should stimulate the formation of secondary tooth tissue which will be evident on radiograph by 3 months and if there is no barrier formation then chances of pulpal infection are more and pdl widening is an indication of this, if it wasn't there before. The tooth pulp may undergo slow degenerative process leading to the increase in the amount of infection, which may be a cause of concern but your dentist will observe your tooth closely to tell the right time to intervene for ...more

Unfortunately, I cannot provide medical advice or make diagnoses. Deciding whether an apicoectomy is the right course of action for your situation requires expertise and information that I do not have access to.
However, I can offer some general information and suggestions that may be helpful in your decision-making process:

Hi

Wisdom teeth are usually only removed if they cause problems, or are likely to in the future. (pain, swelling etc.) wisdom teeth that don't break through (sometimes also called “impacted” wisdom teeth) often don't ...more

An accurate answer to this query is not possible as no image or radiograph (x-ray) has been attached by you.
While calcified root canals aren't uncommon, a qualified endodontist has some methods which can navigate this. Even after multiple tries if it does not work, then no further attempt is made. However, pain is an indicator that some stimulus is still there. Please talk to your endodontist for more info, or seek a second opinion.
