Hello,
gap between teeth can be closed by:
1. Orthodontic (braces) treatment which is most safest and conservative treatment. Visit an orthodontist and get it checked. Time duration varies from case to case. It can take 1-2 years.
2. Veneers.
3. Crowns.

A Braces treatment is the best way to correct any misalignment of teeth. It gives a good functionality as well as helps gain confidence of a straight teeth smile. Since you have not mentioned age of your nephew I suggest you go into a good dental Practice with your nephew and get a consultation about orthodontic correction of teeth.

If you are having crowding or spacing of teeth then that can be treated both with and without braces and regarding charges it varies from place to place and doctor to doctor and also depending on a particular case. So it would be better if you visit in person and get the investigation done.
