Yes its a part of aging, almost everyone will have some oa after age 60. That doesn't mean it wil trouble all. Only a few out of these for unexplained reasons will have severe disease. Exercise, ideal weight maintenance and healthy diet are best and probably only effective ways to prevent it.

You are too young to get Osteoporosis and osteo arthritis
Concentrate on your diet, Vitamin D Medication.
If you have any co existing diseases get those treated first
Moderate Amt of supervised exercise programme will help to correct osteoporosis.

As arthritis is very common that you get generally bilaterally. Ice therapy would definitely help to reduce the inflammation. We also advise you to use knee cap which would help to prevent the knee from damaging further and also to maintain the quadriceps muscle tone.

It's starting of osteo arthritis of knee. It's an age related arthritis. But you have this problem at very young age. To prevent this from progressing do cycling, swimming etc. Don't walk much. As knee are weight bearing joint. So it suffers further. But if we do cycling etc. Then knee don't need to support our weight.
