Arthritis is swelling of joints with pain, stiffness.
There are some methods you can apply:
• Do exercise such as walking that strength your muscles and move your joint. From movement of joint you got relief from pain and stiffness. •Gentle massage your joints with lukewarm oil. You can use medicated oil. You can apply ice packs and heat with warm water bottle on your painful area.
• If you are obese then lose some weight. Heavy weight make strain on your joint and causes pain.

If your pain is more in the proximal joints, ie. In the upper limbs if the pain is present in the fingers/wrist and in the lower limbs it the pain is present in the toes/ ankle, then we shall definitely say it is rheumatic arthritis. Hello. Methotrexate is the first line drug for treatment for management of Rheumatoid arthritis. If it is not working, it's dose can be slowly increased upto 25 mg per week. Alternatively other medicines like Lefnulomide, Hcqs or Sulfasalazine can be added. Few basic labs like ESTLR, CRP are also needed to assess her present disease status. Contact a Rheumatologist as early as possible, as RA can be a potentially debilitating disease.
