You may have an incisional hernia. Surgery is only treatment option for hernia. You may avoid surgery as far as you are asymptomatic.

I think there is no medicine to cure hernia ,so go for surgical treatment with mesh which is now a days best procedure and less complication is there and it will take you only 15 mins.
