Chicken pox is a viral eruption disease which always comes by contact mostly at younger age where multiple, itchy, painful eruptions with water collection appear all over body face limbs etc. These are found in different stages while older ones dry up with scab formation, newer red ones with water collection appear. Pox virus is caused by varicella zoster virus, This is the highly contagious virus ,spreads as common like cold &flu. Direct touch of blister, breathing in infected environment.

If you have already acquired the infection then nothing can stop it from happening and if you have come in contact with your friend then it is very likely that you will have it the best thing is now to isolate yourself from other people so that it doesn't spread any further and take appropriate symptomatic treatment.
