- Hemoglobin can be increased by taking an iron & vitamin rich diet as in fruits, green leafy vegetables like spinach, kale, broccoli, non veg if you take, beans, lentils, pulses, raisins, nuts such as cashews, figs
- also can take an iron & vitamin supplement.

It is a proven fact that by the time T2 DM is detected, the Insulin producing Beta cells number in pancreas is already down to about 50% of the original.
Therefore, over the year of the course of the disease, there is further reduction of these cells due to glucotoxicity and lipotoxicity. For a diabetic it is best advised to have a diet planned as per the sugar levels, lifestyle and history.
Though you can follow some guidelines -
if your diet is healthy you do not need a supplement. Also proteins are not stored so all the additional proteins are just going to have to be broken down by the body in vain. Always remember any nutrient should be taken only as much as needed.
Have small frequent meals.
Do not fast for long hours.

For diabetes only treatment that really matters is taking appropriate modern drugs which either promote insulin secretion from Iselets of Langerhans Beta cells, or reduce insulin resistance, or reduce glucose absorption itself or take insulin injections to supplement lack of insulin in the body.

You need not to take b suppliments .better you eat salad fruits and green vegetable 5-6 times daily.
Means three small meals. Full plate salad before each meal. Fruits leaving mango, banana ,grapes chikoo and leechi ,no fruit juices.
