Low blood sugar level should be treated as emergency. Consult a local doctor. You may need to recalibrate insulin dose if you're taking. Book a online consultation for more information.
Happy recovery.

Do follow diet as her blood sugar is high. Try to control it with diet n regular exercises. Do fasting, pp and hba1c after 15 days. If it’s still out of range, then she needs to start medicines. Follow diabetes diet which simply means eating the healthiest foods in moderate amounts and sticking to regular mealtimes. A diabetes diet is a healthy-eating plan that's naturally rich in nutrients and low in fat and calories. Key elements are fruits, vegetables and whole grains.

Dear lybrate-user
taking a fasting blood sugar is like studying overnight for an exam and going for a test next day. While as glycosylated hb is like studying throughout year and giving exam. Which is more reliable according to you?
Hba1c is most reliable. You can stop sugar, work on your diet and lifestyle. For any ayurveda advice, please come on a private chat and I will guide your further after consultation.

So that could be one of the reasons for low glucose in the morning. Hemoglobin 7.7% is this only hemoglobin or is it hba1c%? If ...more
