Hi
Usually it settles down on its own when you stop betel nuts. Avoid spicy foods till it heals completely.
Also avoid fizzy drinks, sour foods and hot foods.
Try this for 4 weeks. If it doesn'€™t settle down with all these measures then Consult ENT surgeon as it needs to be examined.

Dear lybrate user. I can understand. Gul manjan addiction comes under SUBSTANCE ABUSE AND ADDICTION. Deaddiction treatment is best suited for such addictions. Medically assisted drug detoxification or alcohol detoxification alone is ineffective as a treatment for addiction. The National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) recommends detoxification followed by both medication (where applicable) and behavioral therapy, followed by relapse prevention.
