Augmentin will help in acute inflammation only. If lumps are old and chronic. Like chalazion, treatment changes.

Do lots of hot water fomentation and maintain lid hygiene. Antibiotic eye drops if there is proper discharge. Above all visit the ophthalmologylist to first confirm its a Stye!

Hi lybrate-user,
these lumps that you are describing can be due to a condition called chalazion, or it could be a healed stye, or even a cyst. Correct diagnosis without examination should be avoided. Normally they disappear with time, but if they don't and if they are multiple, like in your case, you should see an ophthalmologist and get it checked. Its management is quite simple and you can get rid of them in no time.

2. Clean your eyelid with mild soap and water
3. Use a warm tea bag
Instead of using a warm cloth compress, you can use a warm tea bag. Black tea works best because it helps reduce swelling and has some antibacterial properties.
5..Avoid using makeup and wearing contact ...more
