Surgical correction of Strabismus is completed in 2 steps surgery. Later step is performed when residual Strabismus is remained.

Is it just the squint problem you have in the eye or the blurred vision also? If there is blurred vision in that eye, then you should know that you will never get the clear vision that you have in the good eye coz it's too late to start therapy for that. Now regarding the squint, it can be corrected. Please meet a good squint/occuloplasty surgeon.

Squint surgery modifies eye muscles and it's movements and position of the globe.
Its an external surgery, has no adverse effect on vision.

Hi lybrate-user, Strabismus surgery is possible at any age. And at the of 30 as you are inquirying ,should not be a problem and very much possible.
At this age of 30 yrs, looks like we are dealing with cosmetic indication; and is very commonly done at this age.

The cost depends upon the amount and type of squint as that will decide the surgical procedure to be done.

Surgery is the only option. But make sure you have good corrected vision in the right eye otherwise it will squint again.
