If the vision of the squinting eye is reduced due to Amblyopia, then the vision will not improve by squint surgery. You can have better cosmetic appearance only.

At your age, there is no treatment other than surgery. Surgery is safe, results are very predictable. It may relapse partly after some time in very few individuals, depends on your type of squint to begin with, how many muscles are involved, etc. It is worth going for surgery, because, even though it is for" cosmetic" purpose, it enhances your image and self confidence, and depending on your profession, can make a huge difference in your life.

It depends on the amount of deviation and presence or absence of any over/ underaction of muscles. Generally I would prefer operating on one eye, but again many factors to consider before commenting on anything.

Confused, what you want free or paid surgery. If free then go to Medical college ophthalmic department and paid then any nearby Ophthalmologist for surgery.
