Dangers of thumb sucking
Thumb sucking is the most commonly encountered habit in children. It is normal till 4 years of age. If it persists beyond 4 years of age, visit your dentist as it leads to irregular and malaligned teeth. It can even change the growth patterns of the jaw bone. Precaution is better than cure.
