What is the treatment ?

The word slimming implies the act or process of having oneself gain appropriate weight. Slimming can occur due to psychological conditions such as stress, worms in the stomach or lack of protein synthesis. With the advent of fast food chains in almost all the countries, the consumption of fast food has increased among teenagers and adults. There are certain kinds of foods are considered detrimental to the health of a person. This is because of less amounts of Trans-fats and saturated fats, along with less amounts of sodium and sugar, which may result in the increase in abnormal the weight loss of a person. The treatment can be performed by a Nutritional Therapist usually as there are no surgeries involved here. Initially, the consultation must be done and then the therapist may suggest changes accordingly. Initially, the changes in food preferences and nutrient intakes must be made to optimize the metabolism and improve the quality of life and well-being. To do so, a detailed assessment as to what your body needs to gain weight and the reasons for the reduced weight. Post assessment, the suggestions are provided.

How is the treatment done?

The treatment for slimming requires a lot of willpower, hard work and patience. It is a well-known fact that gaining weight is difficult for so many people, but it is still achievable and possible. The treatment has to start with the right balance of proteins, fats and carbohydrates. In the daily intake there must be nutritious calories added. For instance, grated eggs can be added to mashed potatoes. Limit the beverage intake half an hour pre or post a meal. For a higher calorie intake, try drinking mixed fruit juices. Alcohol stimulates appetite however, half a ounce of liquor with your juice must suffice. Nutritious snacks can be an add-on Slimming, even after cutting down the intake of unhealthy food products, may be difficult for many, especially the people whose weight loss is because of hormonal diseases or any other kind of illness. In that case, exercising regularly is the best way to maintain a healthy body weight. Physical inactivity may also result in unsteady weight loss of a person. Even jogging or taking long, fast-paced walks may also give good results. Some people choose to go to gyms to work under the supervision of trainers and gain weight by doing cardio and other types of workouts that help them achieve a toned and fit body. The workouts help in burning excessive calories and provide flexibility and vigor to the body as well. Many dance routines and aerobics lessons are also known to help in the body maintenance as well. For depression and stress, indulge in other fun activities to keep up so that it doesn’t affect the body mass.

Who is eligible for the treatment?(When is the treatment done ?)

Body mass index of any person is calculated on the basis of their weight (in kilograms) and height (in meters). It is the measure of their body fat with respect to their height and weight. Anyone who has a lower BMI is eligible for the treatment. It is well defined that people whose BMI is under 30 are the ones who lack the required body weight, medically stating, and so they have to worry about their health.

Who is not eligible for the treatment?

No person is ineligible for the treatment. Regardless of the age, they can all have a healthy lifestyle.

Are there any Side Effects?

There are no side-effects to adopting a healthy lifestyle, wherein you take note of the calories you’re taking in, but this sudden consciousness had led to unattainable body image for people which is not only difficult to attain, but is not possible, at least not naturally. Moreover, people with less body weight are constantly subjected to body shaming and nasty comments, which might lead to the deterioration of the person’s mental health. In addition this, there are many cases where people are paranoid about being thin for the rest of their life so drastically that they become anorexic.

What are the post-treatment guidelines?

Eating healthy food and exercising, whether one decides to gain weight or not, is never a bad option. And so, it is more and more encouraged. Along with this, having a healthy body image about oneself is also necessary. Be patient and positive about yourself and your body, and appreciate it how it is, anyway. Then, switch to the best methods. It will be way easier and fun.

How long does it take to recover?

There is no such standard recovery time. As long as you sincerely follow the schedule given by the nutritionist, the recovery is always possible.

What is the price of the treatment in India?

There is no definite price that one could decide for eating healthily but if one needs to join a gym or aerobics, the fees to pay at these places is affordable. It ranges from as low as INR 600 to higher than INR 15,000 (for capsules).

Are the results of the treatment permanent?

No, the results of the treatment of slimming are not permanent. This is because slimming could be recurring once a person gets careless about what they’re eating and starts living a dormant life.

What are the alternatives to the treatment?

There are prescription drugs, weight gain capsules and so on as alternatives to the already healthy treatment. However, we do not suggest anyone to opt for it unless and until it is suggested by the concerned nutritionist. The capsules may have different effects on different bodies and not all of the effects are necessarily good.

Sir. Good morning. I am diabetic since 2015. And earlier I was taking fastmet g2 per the instruction of a physician. But I started gaining weight. My endocrinologist asked me to stop it and prescribed me carbophage xr1000 and gibtulio 25 /jardiance. So, I have shed many kilograms and now I have lost almost 18 kgs in the last 3 years. I was morbidly obese then. But even after taking all these medicines, my fbs levels don't go below 120 and ppbs below 140 .last week when I checked my fbs level was 147 and ppbs level was 209. Yesterday when I checked, my ppbs levels were at 222. Last month my hba1c level was 6.4.but my Dr. was concerned becoz of the lack of coordination bn the fbs ppbs levels and hba1c level. Also, as a cheaper medicine, I tried vysov 50/1000 for a brief period of time last year. Even though, my sugar levels got under control, I started gaining weight. I also tried xigduo .but I felt like being feverish and was not comfortable after taking it. Also, when we plan to check ppbs. What food we should have for breakfast? For instance, if it's idly. How many idlies can we have ?is reach a good staple food for diabetic patients? In kerala, as you know, rice is the staple food. Kindly clarify sir.
