Regards Lybrate user. Stiffness and pain in multiple joints are classical presentation in rheumatoid arthritis. Rheumatoid arthritis affects many structures like muscles, tendons (structures that connect muscles with bone), ligaments (structures that pass over joints) etc. Stiffness in these structures & pain may occur.
