Hi.
If the x ray and mri shows normal then it might some weakness in the shoulder girdle muscles. Due to pain you can not do all the movements from the right hand and shoulder so that may be the reason for shoulder girdle weakness. Initially you need to do particular shoulder exercises then only you can go for gym.

After any injury the surrounding muscles and tissues become stiff. Try doing mild stretches of shoulder. Do not overstretch. If you dont feel better in 5 days then show an orthopedic surgeon near you.

My right knee is swollen and it got fluid inside it. It's been 4 months when I first consulted with a doctor, took his medicines for 2 and half months but nothing got better, then I consulted another doctor and he prescribed me some test like hla b27 and it's negative, got vitamin b12 deficiency it's 190. He's also unable to tell what's the exact problem, currently in prayagraj and done with my mri and the results are nothing it's just my knee is swollen and that's why it's filled with the fluid. The second doctor took the water outside from my knee 2 times in a day (64 ml and 32 ml ), with the help of an injection, the problematic fact is that as soon the doctor took the fluid out, it got filled within just 10 mins. The third doctor also did the same yesterday in pryagraj after watching my mri results but nothing helped, the condition is getting worse. I got maybe every test reports a doctor needs and I just want the right medication, please help.

You need to use finger splint as a method of skin traction (the most effective method for jammed fingers). No need to take painkillers, it will subside itself. For getting back the sensation you need to opt for some ayurvedic neuropromotive remedies. You may consult me privately or whatsapp on mobile for a proper ayurvedic consultation.

I am a 23 years male and I go to gym regularly. Around 2 weeks back my right wrist started hurting and now if I close my wrist some tendons are moving near carpel bone and causing pain. Sometimes I can not even close my hand. Previously doctor gave pain killer and some vitamins but it didn't work. I got and xray, mri and ultrasound and bellow are the reports. there is abnormal synovial thickening with edema and inflammatory changes seen in the proximal palmar aspect of hand at the level of metacarpal bone deep to flexor digitorum superficialis tendon of middle finger. The synovial thickening is mobile and extends proximally up to the wrist joint at the level of flexor retinaculum. (dynamic ultrasound of the hand was performed: during flexion of hand the abnormal synovial thickening extends proximally into the wrist joint in the subcutaneous plane). There is mild to moderate edema seen in the adjacent soft tissue plane. Is there any serious issue, what are all the available treatments. Thanks in advance.

Hi Mr. lybrate-user.
I hope you are fine.
I went through the report that you have mentioned above and going through the history you have provided. I would say synovial thicvkening in sports athletes are very common especially in wrist which caused due to "over strenious work "this type of injury are very common in body builders, tennis players or any spoirts which involves maximum use of wrist.
Synovial thickening is our body's response to friction caused due to inability to cope up ...more

Hi lybrate user ,The most common causes include injury, arthritis and normal wear and tear. Depending on the cause, you may feel pain or stiffness anywhere around the ankle. Your ankle may also swell, and you may not be able to put any weight on it. Usually, ankle pain gets better with rest, ice and over-the-counter pain medications.

thanks and regards

It looks like you are anaemic. If you have back pain after you sit for long hours then it is due to your haemoglobin levels as it is important to check that. Anaemia always leads to the symptoms of being tired and also having back / leg pain though there may not be any pathological reasons for back pain. It looks like you are anaemic. And also you have to check with your vitamin and calcium, if the bones are weak then automatically the pain gets triggered more as there is less energy during any ...more

1. Drink 8 to 10 glasses of water per day. 2. Prop your feet on cushions, pillows, or even things like phone books, when you sleep. Also try elevating your feet several times a day as well. 3. Get moving- if you sit or stand in one area for a long period of time (like at work), this can lead to swollen feet. Try to move a little bit each hour, even if it’s a walk to the break room, a walk around the block at lunch, flexing your knees and ankles, or a lap around the office.
4. Make some dieta...more
